TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR LIFE AND LEGACY PLUS BOOK SERVICES

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of custom legacy book services ("Services") by Life And Legacy Plus ("Creator," "We," "Us," or "Our"). By engaging Our Services, you ("Client," "You," or "Your") agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

 

 

1. Services Provided

We offer custom books services, which include:

  • Conducting interviews with You to gather information for the book.

  • Writing, designing, and editing the book.

  • Providing drafts for Your review and feedback.

  • Incorporating Your feedback into the final book.

  • Delivering the final book in a digital file and printed book.

 

 


3. Refund Policy

Due to the personalized nature of our work, we have the following refund policy:

  • There are four milestones to complete your book

    • Initial Setup

    • Submissions & preliminary design process

    • Digital production

    • Print production

    • This covers initial planning, setup, , interview, and pre production processes. 

  • If you cancel before the “submissions and preliminary design process” milestone, you may receive a partial refund of 90% for uncompleted work, minus a 10% cancellation fee. Percentages are calculated on the total book cost.

  • If you cancel before the “digital production” milestone, you may receive a partial refund of 50% for uncompleted work, minus a 50% cancellation fee. Percentages are calculated on the total book cost.

  • No refunds will be issued after the “Digital Production milestone”, as significant creative work will have been completed.

  • In the unlikely event of errors (e.g., typos or inaccuracies), we offer free revisions to meet the agreed-upon standards. Refunds are not provided for subjective dissatisfaction.

  • Extenuating circumstances will be reviewed case-by-case at our discretion.

 

 

4. Quality Guarantees

  • We guarantee that the final book will be free of typographical errors and factual inaccuracies based on the information You provide. If such errors are found, We will provide free revisions to correct them.

  • Up to 2 rounds of revisions are included for the book. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.

  • Refunds will not be provided for subjective dissatisfaction with the content or style of the book.

 

 

5. Client Responsibilities

  • You agree to provide all necessary information, materials, and feedback in a timely manner. Delays in providing such information may result in adjustments to the project timeline.

 

 

6. Confidentiality

  • We agree to keep all information You provide confidential and not to disclose it to any third party without Your prior written consent.

 

 

7. Intellectual Property

  • You retain all intellectual property rights to the book. We may use excerpts for promotional purposes only with Your explicit permission.

 

 

8. Termination

  • Either party may terminate the Services with written notice if the other party breaches any material term of these Terms and fails to remedy such breach within 14 days of receiving notice.

  • Upon termination, You shall pay for all Services rendered up to the date of termination, and We shall deliver any completed work to You.

 

 

9. Dispute Resolution

  • If needed, any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration in Dallas, Texas.

 

 

10. Force Majeure

  • We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform the Services due to circumstances beyond Our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, shipping delays, acts of war, or pandemics.

 

 

11. Limitation of Liability

  • While We strive to provide high-quality Services, We do not guarantee specific outcomes or results. Our liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall be limited to the amount paid by You for the Services.

 

 

12. Modifications to Terms

  • We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on Our website, and Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

 

 

13. Governing Law

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Texas, United States of America.

 

 

14. Acceptance of Terms

  • By engaging Our Services, You acknowledge that You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
